We are delighted to present music playlists created by RAP PI Professor Josh Kun for our Forward LA Conference. The “’92” playlist brings together songs that connect to the immediate and historical context of 1992 as well as some of the themes of the conference (community, incarceration, policing, food justice). In the “LA: Forward” playlist, Kun gathers a wide array of tracks from contemporary LA, which has been heralded as undergoing a musical renaissance in a number of genres.
