Curriculum Development with LASUD School Teachers

LAUSD workshop

SLAB developed interactive maps in conjunction with public school teachers to assist with the California state mandate to teach an expanded American Cultures and Ethnic Studies curriculum.

 

Teachers piloted lesson plans using SLAB’s maps and research resources. The open-ended interactivity of the maps engaged students’ curiosity and creativity to learn more about their own and others’ cultures in LA county.
